General Tariff Information

What you need to know

Check In Time: Between 2:00pm and 8:00pm or by arrangement.

Check Out Time: 10:00am or by arrangement.

Room Preferences: Room preferences are acknowledged in booking confirmations, but Corstorphine House reserves the right to change room allocations if necessary.

Credit card security and payment: We require credit card details to secure your booking. Payments for reservations will be charged to the credit card provided. Fifty percent (50%) of the amount confirmed will be debited from your credit card 30 days before arrival and the balance will be charged seven days before arrival.

PayPal payment: We offer you the convenience and security of PayPal online. Choose to pay directly from your bank account, credit card, or PayPal balance in one of 18 different currencies.

Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled less than seven days before the commencement of stay and no shows will forfeit the total tariff confirmed in our confirmation. If the rooms can to be rebooked then these charges will not apply, however we strongly recommend guests to insure against this risk.

Special tariffs: Rates are available for travel agents, larger parties, and corporate clients.

Breakfast: Breakfast is generally served in the Conservatory or in the Dinning Room. On request and subject to availability, house guests may have breakfast in one of the private rooms.

Lunch, Dinner or Wine & Cheese: On request house guests may dine in the Conservatory or in-house, in one of the private dining rooms.

Room Service: Full room service is available from 7 am to 10 pm., whilst a light snack menu is on offer 24 hours.

Laundry: A full laundry service is available. Please note that Corstorphine House takes no responsibility for any damage to clothing that may occur during service. Wash & Dry Only - NZ$30 per load. Press/Iron - NZ$10 per item.

Smoking: Corstorphine House is a smoke-free zone and therefore smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the buildings. Guests disregarding this request will be charged an additional NZ$500 to cover cleaning costs. A covered smoking area is provided outside on the veranda.

Wi-Fi Internet: Easy access is available 24 hours a day and it is free of charge for house guests. Please note, there is now an entry code for our Wi-Fi system.

Extra beds: Extra beds cannot be placed in any rooms. However, depending on availability and only in addition to one or more fully paid rooms, the Moroccan Room can be made available at cost price. We charge NZ$65 per person for additional people in the Moroccan Room (one extra bed) or the Art Deco Room (one extra bed).
